The Energy Action Coalition Summer Fellowship Program Brings Together Top Leaders In The Movement To Gain Hands-on Experience, While Advancing Advancing Energy Action Coalition’s Effort To Create A Clean, Just And Renewable Energy Future. Summer Fellows Join Energy Action Coalition Staff And Coalition Partners To Help Coordinate And Lead Joint Campaign Efforts. The Focus Of The 2012 Summer Fellowship Will Be Building And Harnessing Momentum Coming Out Of Power Shift 2011 To Further Build The Movement And Win Substantive Victories.

 

ONLINE ORGANIZING FELLOW

 

Launched At Power Shift 2011 Last April, WeArePowerShift.org Has Quickly Grown Into An Exciting And Dynamic Platform For Youth Activists To Share Stories, Updates, And Best Practices From The Campaigns They Are Running On Their Campuses And In Their Communities. In 2012, Our Vision For WeArePowerShift.org Is To Create A Grassroots-driven Online Community That Can Bring Out The Best In The Youth Climate Movement, Empower Young People To Organize, Collaborate, Take Action, Tell Their Story, Connect With New Local Activists, And Build Connections Across Our Geographically And Culturally Diverse Movement.

 

The Summer Online Organizing Fellows Will Help Build On Our Momentum And Grow The New WeArePowerShift.org Online Community. The Role Of This Fellow Is To Use Online Organizing And New Media As Means To Communicate The Work Of Power Shift Leaders And Inspire People Into Action.
